The Phantom of the Opera.....

And Les Miserables.

This has been a week of absolutely NO Stitching.
It's about the singing,

I am preforming with the Command performance choir in a chorus for the production of the music from The Phantom and Les Mis.

We had a full dress rehearsal on Sunday...from 3pm until 8pm...yup a long day.
Last night was opening night and tonight we rap up with our 2nd performance. There will be a cast party after that.
We are having so much fun. This is a very professional production and it is very interesting to hear these amazing singers.

I will try and post a few more photo's later on. Today I only have these two taken at the dress rehearsal. I'm in the front row. Which is a bit nerve racking. But I'm OK with that.

This weekend at the retreat I will be back to my stitching.

I hope you all stitch with happy fingers and take care.

It sounds like this has been a very interesting experience Beatrice.

Have a well earned rest at your stitching retreat this weekend.

I haven't sung in a choir since high school, when we made the somewhat cringing discovery that I, like my mother, am a tone-deaf baratone. lol

I hope you had a wonderful time at your concert! I'll bet you brought the house down. :)
