Page One...

First of all THANK YOU all for such a wonderful response to BLING being finished!!!! I was overwhelmed by all of your kind comments.

And now I have another finish...page one of the Album of stitches by Jennette Douglas
I am so pleased with the results. Working on 32ct black evenweave with lovely variegated threads , beads and Krenik.

I wish I could take a better photo but the black seems to be hard to show up. It looks a bit grey but believe me it's black. and tiny.

Because I had a couple of finishes I decided to treat myself to a new start.
This is the chart that Tracy [Teejay] gifted me last month and I bought some wonderful white opalescence even weave. so far so good...

I really must get to bed now it's late and I'm tired. I have to sing tomorrow and I need to practice a bit in the morning.

Stitch with happy fingers.

Album of Stitches looks wonderful so far. I look forward to seeing more pics as you go along. And I have trouble getting fabric to photograph right no matter what color it is, but black is definitely one of the more challenging.

Your album is so precious, what lovely stitches. I am glad that you are enjoying "Flutterbys", I had a great time with it too.

Hi:
I just got an explaination from Heidi about what even weave is. I am new at cross stitching and only have used Aida. It sounds like I could try it. Your new piece is looking like it would be fun. I love your finish. Stitching on black looks like a challenge. Have a good day.
