Some catching up!

I don't have much to show you from the last few days...Oh a little on the castle but not much to see on that.

This was stitched by me in Dec. of 2005.
It is Starry night by Prairie schooler.
I think it is so pretty, Very sparkly! There are 5 more in the book no.109. I will have to do some more. I framed it myself!

This week has been very busy.
We did the renovations in the kitchen I have posted a before and after for you.

The bench in the alcove was a catch all and my computer desk was on the other side and very small.
So.....I said one day I wouldn't mind if the bench was gone and a desk put in. So....

Here it is..It's not finished yet but you get the idea. I'm actually putting a TV on the small desk on the side. That was the desk I had across from it on the other wall.
When I get all the things back on the wall I will post it again.

I hope you all have a great weekend. Stitch with happy fingers.!

If is possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll, I thank. Good bye friend.

You painted as well as rearranging? The wall behind went from white to yellow :o) I like yellow. Riley's room is yellow and red.

Starry Night is really pretty. You did a great job of the framing. I wouldn't have guessed you'd done it yourself if you hadn't said.

Hi Beatrice,

I've been catching up with your blog.

So, that bear made by the employee at your Mom's residence is incredible! What an amazing piece. So much work on it, and so much detail. It must be fascinating to look at in person. I expect it will do very well at the auction, as long as there are people there who can appreciate the work and the talent and the time involved in the making of it.

The Autumn get-away looks like it was a lot of fun, and you certainly made good progress on Lucky. Hmmm...stitching and eating....some of my favourite pass times. The B&B that it was held at looks quite comfortable and cozy. And Ann (and her hubby) always seem to provide welcome hospitality to their gatherings.

Paradigm Lost - it's looking so pretty with the colours that you've chosen to stitch it with.

The SAL that you'll be starting in January on Moonlight Guardian will be fun and the many threads and things to be used on this design look so pretty. Especially the Waterlilies.

Kitchen renovations are so much fun aren't they?? You now have a nice comfy nook to blog and yet more room to work. I love the colour on the walls too.

Have you done much framing of your own stitching Beatrice?? Where did you learn to do it?? I love the Prairie Schooler piece and you've done a wonderful job of framing it.

Cheers.

I love little house renovations like that! Although, I guess they are not really so little huh? But changes to our living space give me such a lift.

Your PS ornament looks so pretty - now there's one I actually don't have in my stash yet!
