Lots of Fun

My Internet wasn't working so it took me a while to get this posted.

On Wednes day a few of us got together to make some flat folds .

We had so much fun, Barb was there to assist us and guide us through the process. When there are a few people it is much more fun. We laugh and glued and then had tea and cookies thanks to Ann
of Knowledge and Needles.
She has also put up a few photos. check it out. She wrote what they all are so I won't repeat.

Thanks Barb for all your help and Thanks Ann for your hospitality!!! She made cookies for us yummmmm! See even one of her dogs Molly was trying to convince Mom she should have one too!!.

I'm off to work today so have a good day all and stitch with happy fingers.

That looks like so much fun! I really must try and find some local stitchers. Great photo's too. Those flat folds look great.

I spied some beautiful stitched pieces up on the wall in the 2nd photo. Do you know what the angel design with the baby is called? I don't think I've ever seen that one before.

Hi Beatrice,

Are you enjoying the same wonderful weather that we're having here?? What a weekend it's been. Enough is enough. There aught to be a law...it shouldn't be allowed to rain in December. Snow is fine, but no rain. Ugh!!

The flat fold class looks like it was tons of fun, and the results are quite impressive. I love the look of this method of finishing.
Everyone's piece turned out lovely.
Loved the picture of the dog trying to mooch a cookie from your Mom.

Tour de Marques is starting to really come together now. I don't know where you find the patience to stitch so many colour changes. But I love the realistic look to this piece.

Cheers.
