Happy Dance for the tree

I'm off to Chior practice so just a quick note to tell you that I finished the tree, See the word CHRISTMAS. I love the green on red..It looks gold with the Krenik.015 and 907 DMC .

Today was teapot day for me at the Thursday stitching group.
We had a good day except we had to say farewell to our Snowbirds Kathy and Angie.
We will miss them both. Take care of yourselves ladies see you in the spring.

Kathy and I will see each other in January. They come home for a break with the grandchildren.
Otherwise we will be in touch on the SAL blog..

Got to go. I'll be working the next 2 days but I will look in when I can.
Thank you for all your comments and stitch with happy fingers.

Both pieces look fantastic. The tree is so sparkly and inspirational for the christmas spirit and the teapot is warm and cozy, especially with the kitty cat. I am working on Easter Bouquet by Cedar Hill, I just love the colors, I am maybe a quarter of the way into it, probably less.

Hi Beatrice,

This may just be the prettiest of these designs. Maybe because Christmas is such a long word, and so it's a more detailed and impressive design. Do you know how you're going to finish this one off???

Your witch turned out beautifully, and I love the orange beads trimming her skirt, and on her shoes. And the big, bright moon shining behind her is a nice highlight. A nice seasonal finish.

Wow. You and your mom have some serious stitching ahead of you with all those Xmas ornies that you received from Australia. What a lovely gift.

Lucky is coming along beautifully, and I can only imagine how eager you must be to see him finished off.

Isn't it nice that Autumn has finally arrived, weather wise. I prefer the cooler weather. Will you get many trick or treaters at your door?? We usually have around 50, tops. Which reminds me, we have to buy candy this weekend.

Cheers.

The Christmas tree is so pretty! Did you stitch with a variegated floss, or is it just the lighting?

The teapot is also turning out beautifully, I can't wait to see how it turns out.
