Yippee. I got it.
Yesterday I went to Kingston to help my DSIL clean up some things at our Aunts house. So I took the opportunity to go to Chapters. I was so happy to find the ornament magazine. We have been looking for it for weeks.
I picked up an Extra one for Kathy as she is away. I would never live it down if I only bought one...LOLNot having been able to do much stitching yesterday I thought I would share this piece with you.
I stitched it last year for Halloween.
I did a bit of quilted finish on It. I'm not much of a quilter but I enjoyed doing this !!!!
I found the chart in an older magazine. [Maybe a year or two.] I'm sure I can find it if I need to.
The weather today is so nice 24*C and a nice breeze. Hard to believe it's October.
Well have a great day everyone and Stitch with happy fingers.

Isn't it so exciting to have new charts for future creative oportunities, I even love it when I get stitching catalogs in the mail. I noticed in some pics on your blog the framed pieces in the background. I would love to see some photos of the framed pieces on your walls, they look wonderful in the background.
Ohhh you got it too!! I feel like the only one who hasn't got this great issue. Shall I or shant I?? xx
Ahhh.. Kathy will be so happy :)
I love that little halloween stitchy from last year :) GORGEOUS job there Beatrice :)
Glad to hear that your hunt for the ornament issue was successful! And, how nice to get an extra for your friend!
I LOVE your Halloween piece--very cute!
I just love your halloween piece. You are so lucky to have this ornament issue !!! Have fun stitching the wonders in there ;-)
Oh, your little witchie is so cute. Great job on the finish. Hooray on the ornament issue. This weekend, Mary Ann, Lynn and I went through our issues. One would say look on page such and such and we'd turn and discuss the design! Isn't stitching life grand?
I've got this issue for this year, too!
It's wonderful, isn't it?!
And I love your mum's work which you helped to finishing "Halloween" one, it's really beautiful!!
Cute Halloween piece! I love the bright orange color! The wallhanging is exactly what I want to do with my Halloween Night cross stitch. Hopefully it will be done next week.
Your stich and quilt are so lovely.
It is rain today in Japan.
That is so cute, the finishing fabric is perfect for the design.
you'll get a kick out of this. I belong to a message board...a gal in Barrie was asking about getting the ornie issue. No one has been able to find it. So another gal in Alberta tells me about YOUR blog, a gal from Quinte finding it in MY town lol thanks Beatrice, I'm off to that Chapters tonight to pick up a few copies :)
Great blog!
