My Updates

Well 2 posts in a week...don't get too used to it...LOL! The weather is changing and I'm settling in..so I hope to post more often.
Here is an update on my WIP's...this a monthly chart of Inky Dinky Blackwork by Sandra Dering

this JBW is being done on a lovely 55ct...yes 55 ct linen from France.
My friend Clare is always setting me up with a smaller count..this is  soooo small but stunning. Hold a dime in your hand and picture it! Dani took the picture at the GTG.

Dani and Christin gave me this pretty little pair of Dovo Scissors for my BDay.  they are so luxurious..and to finish it off Kathy gave me the hand made fob with a lighthouse for stitching on the RR.
Thanks ladies!

Bonnie gifted me with these retractable sharpies highlighters..they are so great Thanks Bonnie!

Dani put her touch on My MIRA RR.(left bottom) oh it is stunning...lots of bling. My favorite!Love it Dani.

Odds and Sods

I've had a good week..did some interesting things and have kept pretty busy.

I went to Micheal's and bought 6 cubes (@ 40% off each) for my stitching things...the cubes come in a box and you have to build them. each one took about an hour...not hard to do just time consuming building all the drawers.Yikes  Good thing I like baseball. It was easy to listen to while I built!
Now I have to sort through my things and fill the shelves and drawers.
I love the way they look!

On Sunday I was involved with singing in the park in Picton On.
I took my Mom with me so we would have an audiance..surprise.. there were at least 150 people there.  NICE!
Doesn't Mom look great? Her birthday is in 3 weeks she'll be 94.
Some photo's to share with you.

Not much stitching this week, only the CdC and I'll show it next time.

Have a good week and stitch with happy fingers.!

Alls well !

I have had the worst time with my computer....It  finally Crashed...yup Crashed ! I lost everything...oh ...not my photos I had them on discs thank goodness for that.

It seems that could be the reason I had so much problems with the comments and uploading.
Who knows anyway. .. I now have a new hard drive and all my programs are reloaded and we will try this again.
I had 4 Trojans and 2 viruses
so
I also have a new antivirus so I hope all is well.

Now about the stitching in the mean time I was able to spend some time on that.

This is a Halloween piece
Black Cats and Flying Bats
Blue Ribbon designs

Next I stitched the eyes on this hand towel for my bathroom.
The pattern is in a mag that a friend loaned me.
The towel was given to me from a friend (Angie)at my group. she bought it at a yardsale and thought of my bathroom.
The lady (Judy) she bought it from is in our group as well and loved the results. Now she can come and visit her towel any time she wants.  LOL
