Alls well !

I have had the worst time with my computer....It  finally Crashed...yup Crashed ! I lost everything...oh ...not my photos I had them on discs thank goodness for that.

It seems that could be the reason I had so much problems with the comments and uploading.
Who knows anyway. .. I now have a new hard drive and all my programs are reloaded and we will try this again.
I had 4 Trojans and 2 viruses
so
I also have a new antivirus so I hope all is well.

Now about the stitching in the mean time I was able to spend some time on that.

This is a Halloween piece
Black Cats and Flying Bats
Blue Ribbon designs

Next I stitched the eyes on this hand towel for my bathroom.
The pattern is in a mag that a friend loaned me.
The towel was given to me from a friend (Angie)at my group. she bought it at a yardsale and thought of my bathroom.
The lady (Judy) she bought it from is in our group as well and loved the results. Now she can come and visit her towel any time she wants.  LOL

Remember Ink Circles CdC ?
here is a close up of the verigated thread on the navy.

Hmmm table cloth is showing through.. it is white.

Not the greatest photos but you get the idea.
This is a RR we are doing at our Thursday group. Barb is the owner of this one . I had my pig tails dipped in ink as a kid so this was definitely mine to do.

So as you can see I've been stitching.
I hope you are all  having a wonderful summer,  and Stitch with happy fingers.

Back to normal

This was a very Hectic week for me. I decided to have a yard sale soooo...got ready for that and then I was called in to work 2 days to help out during holidays. I'm surprised I had time to stitch!
Things went well at the yard sale, mind you that was my first one and my last one. Too much work for a small return.

Ann had a RR that needed a few more stitchers so I volunteered to add my little piece. I used a bit from a magazine and modified it to my liking.

I like how it turned out.

I also did quite a bit on my HAED I can still see the line but I approached it from the other side and it is a bit better. The rest of the pages will be staggered on the sides so that won't happen again!

The weather has finally turned warm! Summer is here!
I hope you all have a great week and Stitch with happy fingers!

Start and Finish

I started and finished a little RR for Kathy A. She needed a fill-in so I loved doing this.
I sort of created it myself to get it to fit in the spot. [A little mix and match]
I'm happy with how it turned out. I hope she likes it too!
Here is the piece so far!

Another start and finish...I have a friend that collects Owls....so I went on a hunt and found this little guy. She also loves orange and I had the perfect piece of evenweave I picked up at Ann's.
Don't you love stash?

It was her Birthday so I added some writing on the back.

Now this is NOT a finish YET!!
But she is getting lots of attention. Nordic Angel!
The apron is half done and she still requires beads and krenic and backstitching in a lot of places.

Stitch with Happy Fingers.
I hope the spring is treating you well....we have lots of buds and flowers popping up!

Round Robin

Well as I said before I was working on a little RR!!!!! Actually not such a small stitch., even though it is on 16 ct aida

This is the piece that I stitched for the RR we are doing at our Thursday stitching group. It turned out so pretty. The colours have a very subtle blending and gives it a lovely result.

Ann of Knowledge and Needles, the hostess of the group did the Bull. Isn't he regal?

Lisa did this cute little pig!

Adriana, [my Mom] did the lamb.

This is the group so far. I will keep you updated with this one. I really like it.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. It looks like ours will be VERY HOT. Good it's nearly summer!
