He has a mate!
At Thursday Stitching at our LNS Knowledge and Needles, I found the perfect mate for Bling aka Moonlight guardian.
Guard this Keep, has a cute little Dragon that will go well together. Not sure when it will get stitch but it's great stash. The name on the chart is "The Smith's" ...just happens to be my last name so what can I say. It jumped out at me!!
I found this nice piece of fabric when Kathy A.and I went out for a bit of a jaunt to a fabric shop. And lunch!!!
Last week when I went Golfing with my DH and another couple we had a beautiful view as we went to one of the t blocks. Long horned cattle not that common around here and there they were in all there glory.
I love summer!!!

I Couldn't Help it!
As you know I have Startitis and once again it flared up and I had no control......
Here is the result of that. One Celtic knot by M designs. this is my second attempt at over one. The first one was the M design Christmas tree. I now have a new addiction. I love over one and am looking at doing a HAED [heaven and earth design] Yup I'm hooked.
The other piece is a Prairie Schooler Harvest Time. As you can see the witch on a broom. This will be my flat fold for the Halloween season.
I also thought I would show you my towering herb garden. Isn't it cute??
I hope to bring it in for the winter. If it survives! So far so good.
Melanie [no blog as far as I can see] had asked about the Scenic Farm. The designer is Dimensions. It is a kit. [1997]It is a pretty piece and I'm enjoying it too.
Thanks for all the great comments on my blog.
Take care and stitch with happy fingers.

Finally.....
I have been having some trouble getting the internet to work..we think the server is doing some work. So I wasn't able to stay on line long enough to do any blogging or posting. It kept cutting out.
We don't very often have problems but this time it was for about a week of hit and miss.
It seems to be back up and running now.
Sorry I haven't been able to keep in touch.
Thank You for all of your lovely comments and I WILL get back at it ASAP. I have about 250 on my Google Reader. So please bare with me .
The stitching has been going well. As you can see the Angel has some wing happening. Lots of krenik.
Bling has had some attention too.
PL is always a pleasure.
Has anyone noticed that the photo on the charts doesn't show any back stitching. Hmmm and there is a lot of it. I don't even see it with a magnifier. I find that a bit bazaar
Oh well the chart calls for it so it's getting done. The motif on the right has quite a bit..
See you all again soon.

Guess who's back.......
Yup you guessed it. The NORDIC ANGEL!!!
She got all of my attention over the weekend....Oh I did about 2 hours of border on the Moonlight guardian while I watched a movie.
Other then that it's amazing what you accomplish when you put your mind to it.
The reindeer is done but for his bells. Now for the apron. It's very white and has some design.
Here is the last post of her...March.
So she really need some attention.
Have a good day and stitch with happy fingers,
I'm off to stitch on PL today because I'm busy tomorrow!

Round Robin
Well as I said before I was working on a little RR!!!!! Actually not such a small stitch., even though it is on 16 ct aida
This is the piece that I stitched for the RR we are doing at our Thursday stitching group. It turned out so pretty. The colours have a very subtle blending and gives it a lovely result.
Ann of Knowledge and Needles, the hostess of the group did the Bull. Isn't he regal?
Lisa did this cute little pig!
Adriana, [my Mom] did the lamb.
This is the group so far. I will keep you updated with this one. I really like it.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. It looks like ours will be VERY HOT. Good it's nearly summer!

There's a Steeple !
Yesterday I was able to stitch on the farm scene...A Church is a nice place to start!
It's a winter scene and it has lots of white. Also it's being stitch on 18 count aida...[kit]
It's another rainy day today so I'm updating posts and comments.
I needed to post a photo of PL because I want to stitch on it today so the update would be last weeks!
I will also post it on the SAL blog. We need some of the CdC and PL stitchers to start posting again. I'd love to see some updates on that!
