Stitching before Blogging

Well not any of the recent stitching to show so I thought I would share some things we did in the fall. Dani taught us how to make a CUBIT. Aren't they just the cutest. Mine are the Curling by Stitchopolis and the Star from a Magazine JCS , I think, I can always look it up.... My Mom did the 2 snowmen and Christin did the Kitty.
This is a fun way to finish a small piece. Dani has a tutorial on her Web page.
I have been doing some stitching that I will show after it has been sent and received. The Biscornu exchange.... It's coming along great.
Today I'm off to take my 2 dogs to the Groomer. I stay with them and help with the brushing and bathing.
They think they are at the Spa. So I don't tell them any different. They Love it there.
That will get them ready for winter....Yikes did I just say that. Brrrr.
Have a great day and Stitch with happy fingers.

They all look really cute! Dani's hosting a GTG next month and she plans on showing us either the cubes, flatfolds or ornament finishing. I can't wait!

Hi Beatrice,

What a great opportunity to learn a new finishing skill. And from Dani too. Even better. Those cube finishes are beautiful, and the size and shape affords you a great deal of leeway in decorating them once they've been put together. I especially love the star one that you stitched. It's gorgeous. And your Mom's snowmen are a great set.

Very sorry to hear about your DH's Aunt's passing. Hope your memories of her help to ease the pain of her passing.

Peace. Judy
