42,681 stitches

That's a lot of stitches..It took me 1 1/2 years of once a week stitching. I moved it up a notch the last 2 weeks to get it done and Saturday at 10pm it was finished.
I have the fabric to make it into a table cloth but need to show it off first!

Long Dog Samplers Paradigm Lost......

Drum roll please.......ta dah.....

.
This is stitched on white 32ct lugana evenweave with DMC 315 & 316 and measures in at 30"x 30"

Have a good day and stitch with happy fingers.

Brilliant! I have seen a couple of Long-Dogs in the flesh and know just how much work goes into them. Yours looks lovely. Congratulations on the finish.

Wow, Beatrice! Yeah! What an accomplishment! It is just stunning and absolutely wonderful.

Whenever I am stitching my last stitch in a project, I start singing: "dunt da dun" very dramatically as I am finishing.

Absolutely gorgeous Beatrice! I love the colours you used. Maroon is one of my favourite colours along with all shades of blue, pink and hunter green.

This is a work of art. I hope you put the tablecloth under glass. That is way to much work to risk getting anything on.

Hello dear Beatrice,

Congratulations on your finish of the PL, it looks gorgeous! The lady with reindeer is also beautiful! And the fob for your mother must have been such a nice present for her ...
I am back in blogland after a long 'radio silence'. My health, my MIL who died in July (cancer) etc. etc. made me stop for awhile, but I am back on www.caroliensstitches.blogspot again. And now I am catching up with some favourite blogs of mine, so I come over to yours of course :)

I really hope you, your mother and your beloved ones are doing fine.
Take care & hugs, Carolien
