Bling has more Wing

As you can see Bling has a pretty good looking wing. It still requires a bit of bling threads through out but it is coming along. What a nice piece to work on. I'm so glad that I changed the fabric. I love the feel of this even weave..have a look way back when....

PL has seen some attention as well. Now the Back stitching needs to be done on this motif.

Stitching has been limited....Spring you know ....Garden, Golf and so on!

I'm going to catch up on some blogs now!

Have a great day and stitch with happy fingers.
I'm trying to not stitch with dirty gardening fingers...LOL

Hi Beatrice,

Your framed TW design featuring Lucky looks wonderful. Very nice choices in mat and frame. They show off the design very nicely.

Bling is a great name for your newest dragon, and he looks as if he's going to be quite impressive judging by his wing. I'm glad you're happy with the new fabric selection and it's working out well for you.

Wish I could have been at your concert a few weeks ago. It sounds like it would have been a blast and just my type of music. Do you tour together to other parts of Ontario or Canada??

It was a great weekend for gardening (at last!!!) wasn't it?
DH does a great deal of it here, and is very fussy about it. He's very diligent about mowing, watering and weeding. It's his
method of relaxing during the good weather.

Cheers!!

Beautiful! I have been desiring a start on another DD dragon soon. I loved stitching Storm Bringer a couple of years ago... now MG looks like a good choice too :-) Yours is looking fantastic.

There is a dilema at this time of year isn't there Beatrice? Do we go work in the garden or sit and stitch on a garden bench. :) You have made good progress on your stitching. I have not stitched at all in weeks. I am busy making a secret summertime swap gift. I told the ladies it could be anything handmade even though we are a stitching group. So many ladies do other things too. I am quilting something and will share it when I know the person has received it.

Hope you are having a wonderful start to your summer season.

Hugs ~
Heidi

Love all your WIP. Bling looks great on the new fabric. I tend to stick with evenweaves cause they're much easier on the eyes!

Both WIP's look great, Beatrice. You're supposed to have more stitching time now that you are retired, not less! It sounds as if you are busier than ever!!
