What a Week

As you know the flatfold's were done on Wednesday. So that started the busy week.
The rest of the week my spare time was spent finishing this Quilt for my Mother. She stitched the pieces over the last few months and We went to get the fabric in the county a few weeks ago, so this was the week to put it together. She helped me to measure and cut and stitched it after I turned it. She really wanted to be a part of the finish ,she just doesn't use the machine anymore. I was happy to do it for her but I'm not crazy about quilting. [She is 91] I love the way it turned out.
The rest of the week was shopping and choir. Work 10 hrs Friday 9hrs Saturday, Christmas party Sat. Night. Company for the day Sunday after Church. They left at 9pm last night and now I'm resting!!!!Whew!!!
I'm going to do laundry and stitch all day.
We have Snow and Ice outside, so no point in going anywhere.
The roads are so BAD!!!

I'm going to read up on some blogs. Have a look at Karen's blog she got a cute little gift!
Thank you for your lovely comments.
Stitch with happy fingers.

Your mums quilt looks great! You are so clever to be able to do stuff like that. :o)

I so love my ornament! We are not putting the tree up this year with Riley being mobile and still too young to understand that he's not allowed to touch, but we will be putting up lights and other stuff around. My new little ornament will be hanging from the shelf over the tv so everyone can see it :o)

Hello Beatrice,

What a nice surprise to see this quilt! I stitched it as a bellpull when I was a girl of about 12 years old. How nice to see these motives in a quilt now. It looks lovely!!!
