Seasonal stitching

This is what we woke up to this morning . This was taken out of my kitchen window. It snowed all day yesterday we had 25cm. My DH is plowing the driveway. He likes to do it and that suits me just fine. The sun is shining and it is very pretty. I'm happy I didn't drive in it yesterday. We elected to stay home all day.

The Cross Stitcher Christmas Special Dec. 2005

This week I did some work on things for Christmas for my Mom so not a lot of a stitching,
I did work on the Castle and Paradigm Lost.
But rather than bore you with updates today I thought iI would share some works I did a couple of years ago.
The Noel I framed myself. I ordered a frame to fit and put it in . It wasn't to hard to do just making sure it was lined up properly..

The star and pointsettas are done in a cubit. I like that look a lot for a small piece. It is 5in. sq.

I will post some update on my wips in a few days.
Stitch with happy fingers.

Both stitched pieces are very pretty. The snow looks pretty also, only if you don't have to get out in it.

That sure is a pretty view out your front door. I enjoy it from here - like a post card. Your NOEL looks lovely where it is and the cubit is sweet.

Wow...that snowy picture is just beautiful...but not beautiful to drive in I'm sure ;)
We got snow, but not that much!

Your NOEL is just gorgeous...funny how you see other peoples stitched item and once you thought...not for me...suddenly becomes something you "HAVE" To do! LOL!
Nice job all around Beatrice!

WOW 25cm of snow, that is a nice view though. Your Mums quilt looks wonderful Beatrice, you did a great job of finishing it for her. I love your NOEL piece, it is very festive.

You did a fantastic job on the framing of your Noel! The cube is gorgeous too. The view from your house is lovely. A snowfall like this always makes everything look so peaceful. Glad you stayed safe!
