Started a New Piece

My friend Kathy was here this evening and we both managed to get some stitching done. I started this new piece yesterday and it is coming along quite nicely. It's stitched over one but on 20 ct. So it is not too hard. One threat of 907DMC and one blending filament [green]. I like the look of sparkles. I'm not sure if I will put beads. I'll see when its done.
Oh yes...I'm back on The Tour des Marques. Oh boy do I have a long way to go on that. I saw one of the ladies at the retreat was half way done, it's wonderful Beth.
Have a great day everyone and stitch with happy fingers!!

That photo of the banners is especially neat. I'm thinking that I might need to add it to my short list (which after the retreat is becoming a long list!) Happy stitching, Picton Jane

Your piece is looking great! To comment on the comment you left on my Sweetheart Tree post. The designers put EXCELLENT instructions in their charts and the specialty stitches are not as difficult as they appear, you just have to focus while stitching them.

You're off to a good start with your tree. I'd love to try one of them sometime.

Nice work on the tree and Tour. I am tempted to start the tree too. I have to stick with some of the other stuff I have going on.

Your new one Christmas Tree will be gorgeous when done, on the red it will be especially striking. Tour is looking great as well. It was fun seeing the picture from the retreat with everyones progress.

The Christmas tree is going to look fantastic! I made one last year, but didn't put large beads on, just a few small seed beads scattered around.
