I Did It ..I Did It.
Here is my first little over one stitch and I framed it too!
This is done on 25ct evenweave and I used 'pewter' Weeks hand dyed thread.
I put it with the teacup so you can compare the size.
Last Friday I went to a lily farm and purchased a new lily for my garden.. this is what it looks like ...I love the colour! This lily is called 'Hope and Glory'
The weather has been a bit better today and I haven't had to water it since I put it in the ground after all the rain we had!
Have a good day and stitch with happy fingers!

Congrats! I know I wouldn't have the patience - I still might talk myself into it. Great finish!
Beatrice, that Lily is STUNNING!.....gorgeous stitched piece, I have A is for Angel in that same frame :)
Wow, Beatrice! It is a tiny, delicate thing. It is so precious and lovely. I'm sure you will treasure it for years to come! Congrats!
That is one pretty lily!
Your finish is gorgeous, and the frame is so perfect for it.
Your finish is awesome. So very small, not sure I would have the patience to finish it.
Your lily is very pretty. Is it a flower that will come back every year?
How pretty Beatrice! Congratulations on a great finish. Over one is great fun to do. I do love the tea cup by the way. Thistles are a favorite of mine. And the doily is pretty and looks like a real spider web.
Hugs ~

Wow you got that all stitched up so quickly! Congrats on doing it over 1. I know I wouldn't have gotten it done that quickly over 1.
That stitching is just beautiful. I had to have Heidi explain to me what one over is. I am new at this cross stitching. I noticed the castles in the background. I have Lilliput Lane houses and they look like that. I love that doily,
did you make it. Love the frame too. Have a great day.

Your stitching is gorgeous. I love the look of over one stitching. And The frame is perfect for it. Great job, Beatrice!
Congrats! It's beautiful!!
It looks wonderful Beatrice, great job!
Hurray!! The Celtic Knot is GORGEOUS!!! And I love that Lilly :)
This is really, really lovely!
I have been tempted to do more one over one, but right now it is very hard on my eyes.
I have several patterns that I like, but the designers have made them so large that they are not practical to frame. Unfortunately they are still residing in my stash box!
Just a great finish!
Congratulations on a beautiful finish ;)
Beautiful! It sure is small, sitting next to the teacup. Love the framing too.
I love the Celtic Cross - it looks fabulous over-1! And great colour of your new Lily - have you named her?
Congratulations Beatrice, it is gorgeous, and beautifully framed also. So are you going to start your HAED now?

Thank you, dear Beatrice, for your sweet comment on the loss of Lea. That really was a comfort ... I am trying and trying to get used to live without her swirling around my legs etc...
Groetjes & have a great weekend, Carolien
It looks beautiful all finished and framed, what a lovely piece.
