Something to blog about !

I know, I know...It's been soooo long.

This will be worth the wait.
My mother decided she needed something to stitch,...I had been wanting to do this Halloween fairy so she said she would do the stitching and I did all of the BS and Beading.
Halloween Fairy

Crossstitch and needlework Sept 2008

I will finish it this week so Mom can hang it on her door at the retirement home for Halloween.
This is so special for me...to have a piece we both worked on...she turned 95 this summer past.
Amazing!!
I have been working on a couple of other things...A Christmas ornie for an exchange in November and......of course I can't show it yet.

My Jardin Prive SAL.

My friend Anne was away for a few days and brought back  a gift of fat quarters for me...I LOVE them, thanks Anne.

I'm going to buckle down and do lots of stitching...need to get caught up.

I have been quilting as well, taking a class or 2 and this is the results!

Spicy spiral on my coffee table

I took a pic on the floor so you can see the colours
This has been so much fun to sew..I'm working on one for Halloween too!
Hmm maybe another blog when it's done...hahaha.
I'm so bad...I just don't have the  blogging Mojo.

I hope you are having a wonderful fall and
Stitch with happy fingers!

Your Halloween fairy is amazing Beatrice! It must be very special being able to share in the stitching with your Mom. Wonderful!
I love your quilting spiral! I must tell my friend Ina. She has been looking for something new in a table runner to quilt and this just might fit the bill.

The fairy has turned out lovely. What a great thing to have something both you and your Mom have stitched on. You certainly are lucky to have her. Love the new table runner. A hallowe'en one would be lovely.

I love the Halloween Fairy! That looks like a difficult stitch. It is so special that you and your Mom worked on it together. Her door is going to be very popular.
