I love my new clock.

It's the funniest thing what makes a person I love my new clock I found in a second hand store. It suits my purpose. I have my little Delft's Blue knic knac's on it.and it fits into the
living room perfectly!
On Wednesday Barb (no blog) came over to show me how to finish this tea cozy. I did the sewing and she guided me through.
This is soooo cute.
My Mom stitched the Blue and I stitched the Yellow so now my two sided tea cozy is finally finished, It is small because I don't have a lot of room . It fits a one cup pot but it is about the stitching I would never use it, I'd be afraid of the tea stains.
I'm of to sing today ..practice for a performance at a 100th birthday party on Sunday.
Take care,
Stitch with happy fingers.!

Hello Beatrice,

Your clock is beautiful and how nice you can use it as 'storage' of those nice Delft Blue's too!
Your tea cosy is soooo beautiful! I couldn't use it either, it's a masterpiece. My compliments for you & mom :)
Thanks for your mail and you should have told me earlier about the anijsblokjes ... I will get them tomorrow together with some other Dutchies :)

Have a nice weekend & groetjes uit Holland,

OMG Beatrice, I saw a similar clock yesterday in an antique store near my son's home. The only difference is that the one I saw was taller and was a floor model. I loved the fact that it had all those shelves with it and then I see yours. I love it! Perfect for displaying your china too.

Your little tea cozy turned out beautifully. How nice that your Mom stitched one side of it.I think I'd be afraid to use it too.
Have fun singing on Sunday!

The clock is beautiful. And I love those little tea cozies. I want to make a small one for my single teapot as I have made them for the large one. I keep thinking I want to do one in patchwork too. But I have been wanting to use a freebie from The Sampler Girl for one too.

Hugs from Holland ~

Nice clock! I love your tea cosy, but I agree I wouldn't use it either just in case of tea spills.
