My Oh My...It's been a long time

I've been reading the blogs and realized that it's about time I started up again. Summer is over ...as a matter of fact we are having a rainy fall day! The leaves are turning and things are cooling down.
I hope you all had a great summer and are enjoying the fall.

I started a RR Mirabilia for myself ..the ladies I stitch with on Thursdays will be adding to it.
This is my contribution. Lots of bling and beads! (Christmas Flourishes)

I'm also working on Lizzie Kate Boo Club. I noticed I miscalculated the fabric length so am leaving 2 of the flips out for now. Hmm it looks OK to me. Almost done.

HAED ia 2/3 through the 2nd page. I really like working on it. Just don't seem to have enough time for all of these.
You know me lots of projects...LOL.

Last but not least the SAL Miabilia. White Christmas. Better than half way !
I'm going to try and keep up my posts from now on again. I had lost my MOJO but seem to be on track again.
Take care all and stitch with happy fingers.

Beads,friends, food and stitching!

This was such a great weekend...
I learned to make a fob with beads. (for my new Henckle scissors)
Thanks for giving us the lesson on how too.....
I'm going to ask you to have a look at Dani's blog here. Because I would just be repeating everything. she took terrific pictures and posted them.

We stitched and laughed and had a great time at Kathy's for the weekend.
Thanks Kathy for such a nice time and great food.

I did manage to do some stitching ...I finally took out the flip it's and started them. This is the Lizzie Kate Boo Club Flip it's. A nice stitch to do when you are laughing and not really paying too much attention.

Have a good day everyone and stitch with happy fingers!!!!

Another week

I was so excited to get the last 2 flip- it's for the Christmas spirit by Lizzy Kate I dropped everything and stitched the next one...3 to go yippee.
The colours are looking better and better as I go.

I've gotten a bit more done on the JD album. I have 2 more rows to do and then I will finish the writing and add the rest of the beads. The next page is in, so... I really should get this done.

This is page 7 on the PL and I worked on it on my regular day[Wed] this week.

So there you go, my bit of stitching that I had to show you.

I hope you stitch with happy fingers and see you all soon!

Show and Tell.

It seems to me I have done a lot of stitching this week.

Bling is on the home- stretch. She got some back stitching this week. Black on black is a bit tough but it's getting there.

8 flips done on Christmas spirit 4 to go. I'm waiting for them to come in the end of the month. This will definitely be done for Christmas.

Paradigm Lost has 6 pages done and 6 to go so the halfway mark has been reached.

Finally I must say this Jeanette Douglas Album of stitches is soooo much fun. It is slow going because most of it is over one on 32 count black lugana. But the results are so pretty. This page is the Mosaic stitch. There is a lot of bling and beads will go on it as well. Page one is a light green and blue blend. DMC veragated thread 4060.

Have a great week and stitch with happy fingers.

Sunset

As you have all seen on my header of my blog I do have a great view and every now and then it gets more spectacular.... and last week ...quite late in the evening this is what we saw. I don't always take photos of the sunsets because they are always pretty, but this one stood out and I thought I would share it with you!
Now... on with my stitching. I have a lot done on Bling. She is my main focus right now because I want to get her done before I start my next SAL.
She has her border completed and the body is almost done. Yes she needs a tail and a treasure chest. But it's coming. Then there is still lots of back stitching. I'm pleased with the results.
Next I'm on the FAITH part of the Lizzie Kate Christmas spirit'"flip it's". It's a nice stitch and the colours are Awesome. This is fun to do when you need to concentrate on the TV with all the shows coming back on for the fall season.
I'm off to read and comment on some blogs. I seem to have been caught up in my stitching and staying off the computer a bit. I need those 2 hours to stitch as well. I'm feeling like I'm getting caught up and that feels soooo good.
Stitch with happy fingers all and take care.

1 little...2 little....

18 little pumpkins...and 10 half ones too!!!!!

I must say I love pumpkins but this was about 10 too many to stitch. It turned out pretty cute though. This will be made into a flat fold one day in Sept. We will be getting together as a group and each of us will be making a flat fold of our own!

I also finished the first 4 flip it's of Lizzie Kate's Christmas Spirit. The next 4 will be in around the end of the month. This is so much fun to do.
I feel like I have accomplished something by finishing these 2 pieces!

I'm going to work on Bling this week I haven't worked on her for a week or so.

I'm afraid I've been a bit lax with my blogging and will get caught up today. See you all soon and stitch with happy fingers!.

Christmas in August.

I'm going to work on the flip it's tonight to get it done for the weekend. There is only Cookie and Santa left to do. The 4 new charts will be in at the end of the month.
This is such a pretty piece the colours are stunning. I like the weeks dyed fibers.

Today was a fun day at the Thursday stitching group.
Ann is getting ready for her Stitching get together for Saturday. It should be great, I will take lots of photos. She expects maybe 25 stitchers.

We start around noon and do pot luck and as usual there will be lots of goodies. We eat again around 6. So... Laugh, eat, visit and get a bit of [not to difficult] stitching done. Yippee!

I want to thank you all for the lovely comments you have sent me for the stitcher of the week on Victoria Sampler news letter.
My Mom was pleased that so many folks read it. Also thank you for the Birthday wishes for her.I have been passing them on to her! You have been very kind.

Thank you friends!

Stitch with happy fingers and have a great day

Quite the storm!

The other night I could hear some thunder in the distance so I looked out side to see this spectacular view.

About a 1/2 hour later we had a huge storm but we didn't get any damage. I know that A lot of folks have been hit hard with the weather and my prayers go out to all of you who have suffered through the many storms north and south!

On the stitching front I have been plugging away at these *@$^# ing pumpkins ..But it is coming together. It's a little boring for me so they don't get a lot of attention.

I have 2 of the Lizzy Kate Christmas spirit flip it's done and just love doing these. Aren't they just the cutest?

Tomorrow I will be spending the day at a Lilly Farm in Orno Ontario. Like I need more flowers..maybe I won't buy any...lol...
It should be interesting. I hope the weather holds for us.

Take care and stitch with happy fingers.
I hope to have some nice pictures of the Lillie's for you.

This Busy little Bee landed in my flower pot Thursday after stitching at Ann's of Knowledge and Needles. Judie [no blog] gave this to me and thought it would love to live in my garden...Isn't it cute??? Thanks so much Judie it looks great here!

While I was Ann's I purchased the charts ,weeks threads and the Lugana eavenweave [mushroom] to do the Lizzie Kate'
