HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Almost done!!!!!

Here she is White Christmas, only needing the beads, treasures and Wisper.
All of the cross stitching in DMC is done.
I wonder if I'll have it ready by the end of the year..One week to go ...hmmmmm??

The area in the shawl is where the White Wisper goes.
That will be my next step then all the beads.
I have been enjoying this SAL so much.
Have a look at the Mira blog to see more of these wonderful stitches!

Today is Christmas Eve, and I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas!

Thank you for sharing you stitching lives with me and also all of the tidbits about your friends and loved ones.
I treasure the friendships I have made and am proud to know all of you.
You have all inspired me .

I've been stitching..

As you can see I've been working on the HAED ...this has page 2 nearly done.
I was hoping to finish this page before the New Year but it took a back seat to some holiday stitching. I've also been stitching on my Mirabilia...It's so close I can taste it..I'll post a photo of it soon.

This ornament has a story.
At the fall retreat Clare (no Blog) had stitched a small ornie...just like this one. I fell in love with it and the next thing you know she gave me a piece of fabric and some thread ..also the pattern and I was on my way to making this sweet little thing.
It is on 40ct... YES 40....linen and the thread is DMC variegated.1 over 2. There are 160 beads, yup I counted them.
I gave it to a very good friend of mine for Christmas.
Thank you Clare for enabling me. I love it and am no longer afraid of any ct. If I can do 25ct 1over1 or 40 ct 1over2. I can pretty much stitch anything. I enjoyed the challenge.

Have a good day

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT IT WORKED!

Hello Everyone,
After 2 months of not blogging ..here I am.
My Husband upgraded my computer and it is now" letting" me stay on line long enough to post a blog and to go on facebook for more then 2 min. at a time.
Yippee.
I'm not sure if I can comment yet but I have been able to look at posts through google reader.
I've missed you all and I hope I can get back in the swing of things.
I'm stitching lots and I will start to show my work again as I go along.

This is a pillow that my mom did for me a couple of years ago. I thought the Christmas theme would be fun to get in the groove.

The next piece you will recognize I'm sure.
After waiting a bit I took it in this week and lo and behold I picked it up from the framer TODAY!!!!!!!
I'm thrilled with how it turned out.

My whole inside of the house is all freshly painted so I'll find a nice spot to hang it.

Please know I didn't give up on blogging...I just gave up waiting for this @#$$^& ing computer.
Blogger just didn't like me much.

I'll be back,
Stitch with happy fingers.

A finish and a start

I finally finished my Boo Club flip it's by Lizzie Kate.. It seems I worked on this forever and I even left out 2 words because I didn't have enough fabric.

I'll be making it into a banner this week so my Mom can hang it on her door at the retirement home where she lives.

Of course where there is a finish there has to be a start...you know me.
I bought this chart at Ann's this summer and just couldn't wait to start it.
The colours are so much prettier than the photo.

Isn't it bright!!!! I love it.The fabric is butter yellow...hmmmm... doesn't really show in the photo. I'll try and take one in the daylight tomorrow.
This will be a fun stitch. I worked on it a few nights. So it should work up fairly quickly.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian friends and stitch with happy fingers.

My Oh My...It's been a long time

I've been reading the blogs and realized that it's about time I started up again. Summer is over ...as a matter of fact we are having a rainy fall day! The leaves are turning and things are cooling down.
I hope you all had a great summer and are enjoying the fall.

I started a RR Mirabilia for myself ..the ladies I stitch with on Thursdays will be adding to it.
This is my contribution. Lots of bling and beads! (Christmas Flourishes)

I'm also working on Lizzie Kate Boo Club. I noticed I miscalculated the fabric length so am leaving 2 of the flips out for now. Hmm it looks OK to me. Almost done.

HAED ia 2/3 through the 2nd page. I really like working on it. Just don't seem to have enough time for all of these.
You know me lots of projects...LOL.

Last but not least the SAL Miabilia. White Christmas. Better than half way !
I'm going to try and keep up my posts from now on again. I had lost my MOJO but seem to be on track again.
Take care all and stitch with happy fingers.

Back at it

It seems I've lost my blogging mojo.
I don't know why...I can only think I've been sitting and stitching a lot.
I've also spent a lot of time weeding and weeding all this rain sure helps those weeds to grow!
I have also started singing again in a small group and that seems to work for me. I enjoy the challenge,
I'm sorry to say that the choir that I was with is now practicing on Sunday eve. and I had to quit. I'm not prepared to give up my Sunday with my Family especially my Mom. So for now I'm off to new adventures.

Please know I've been looking at the blog's I follow and love to see the stitching that is going on.

It's all so wonderful. I guess that helps me to keep on stitching. I want to do all of those lovely pieces I see!!

I'm really enjoying the HAED. 1 over 1 is so much fun.

My Mirabila SAL is going great guns.

Boo club is so colourful. and nice and simple to work on.

That is a pleasure after the HAED So my rotation is going well. I have a couple of little things on the go that I will show when they are done.

It's almost the weekend so I will say have a good one and " Stitch with Happy Fingers! "

p/s notice nothing new at the moment...I'm feeling the urge...soooooon!!!!

Back to normal

This was a very Hectic week for me. I decided to have a yard sale soooo...got ready for that and then I was called in to work 2 days to help out during holidays. I'm surprised I had time to stitch!
Things went well at the yard sale, mind you that was my first one and my last one. Too much work for a small return.

Ann had a RR that needed a few more stitchers so I volunteered to add my little piece. I used a bit from a magazine and modified it to my liking.

I like how it turned out.

I also did quite a bit on my HAED I can still see the line but I approached it from the other side and it is a bit better. The rest of the pages will be staggered on the sides so that won't happen again!

The weather has finally turned warm! Summer is here!
I hope you all have a great week and Stitch with happy fingers!
