I'm spoiled

Kathy made me this terrific cushion...I love it...those of you who know me will understand why she made this for me. LOLOLOL

She also gave me this pretty bracelet from Mexico...Yes I collect elephants. It's silver and soooo shiny.

Dani made me this pretty little scissor fob. Isn't it just the cutest. See the B?

WOW thank you ladies for spoiling me. I love my gifts and love you both so much.

A great weekend

It was rather active...First of all our choir had our spring concert and it was lovely. After the concert we had a party called the After Glow..20 year celebration of the choir. I've been with it for 4 seasons.
I had the pleasure of having Dani as a guest..yup she said she liked the singing. She sat with my DH and Mom.
Dani spent the weekend with us and we did lots of stitching.
Saturday we drove over to pick up my Mom and stopped to see Kathy A. in the Afternoon before the Concert...Yeah she's back. I really missed her and her DH. We have been friends for 30 years.
On Sunday we picked up Mom again and Kathy was here for a stitch as well.

Here is some of my progress.

Dani and Christin have been after me to finish my Nordic Angel so I did stitch on her on Sunday.
Friday and Saturday when I could I worked on PL.

Finally back on line.

My computer has been acting up for a month...infections and bugs yikes.

Terry finally was able to get things going properly.

I wasn't able to stay on line long enough to get a photo up-loaded, my emails came in but even that was a problem sometimes. Hit and Miss!

Well now things are up and fast.

Ever notice how much stitching you can get done when there is no computer??

I will show the photo's and you can judge for yourself.

Small ornaments....Gift of Stitching

Nordic Angel ... Barbara Batz

Paradigm Lost...Long dog sampler

White Christmas... Mirabilia

Now to do some catch up on the blog reader..Wow ..I have been reading some but couldn't comment .
Some were too photo intensive for my poor computer...BUT not any more.
I'm back and I've missed you all.

Please be patient with me so I can get caught up.

Yippee

This is pretty exciting for me!!
I reach my Goal weight today and now go on Maintenance for 6 weeks.

Even after that lovely retreat..I guess I WAS a good girl and watched my portions

Yippee!!!!!

My friend Christin has convinced me to work on the Nordic Angel that was in the very, very, very ,bottom of my stitching bag.

I just don't know how she ended up there....... Hmmmm maybe all of those starts got in the way.
Anyway she's back out and I put a lot of back stitching in her wings and sash.
She is back in rotation.

Have a great day and stitch with happy fingers!

The Phantom of the Opera.....

And Les Miserables.

This has been a week of absolutely NO Stitching.
It's about the singing,

I am preforming with the Command performance choir in a chorus for the production of the music from The Phantom and Les Mis.

We had a full dress rehearsal on Sunday...from 3pm until 8pm...yup a long day.
Last night was opening night and tonight we rap up with our 2nd performance. There will be a cast party after that.
We are having so much fun. This is a very professional production and it is very interesting to hear these amazing singers.

I will try and post a few more photo's later on. Today I only have these two taken at the dress rehearsal. I'm in the front row. Which is a bit nerve racking. But I'm OK with that.

This weekend at the retreat I will be back to my stitching.

I hope you all stitch with happy fingers and take care.

Weekend update.

I had a great time visiting at the Open house that Ann had at Knowledge and Needles!
It was fantastic, She had great things set up for sale from the Nashville convention . Lots of new designs.
I picked up some wonderful fabric and threads. A couple of little charts and will look again when I go back on Thursday to stitch!

It was great to see Dani and Christin.
And thanks Ann for a nice lunch!
I'm so happy you had a good weekend!

Today I had my Mom here for the day [our usual Sunday] But she and My DH watched the Curling so I got lots of stitching done. They are enjoying the Briar and There is no way I have any control of the TV while that is on!
I don't really mind!

I hope you all " stitch with happy fingers! "
