It's a little teapot

A bit of a crazy week for me so I haven't stitched since Thursday here is my teapot update.
It's looking pretty cute . I'm going to do a bit of back stitching before I go any further on it. I don't want to do it all at once. [I've started on the middle leaf]

Tonight is castle night so good night all !!!

A quick update on PL

Here is my update on the Paradigm Lost. What fun it is to stitch!! I'm happy with the two colors I have chosen! I can't wait to stitch on it again next week.

This little Giraffe was stitched by me last summer when I redecorated my Bathroom.
Kathy helped by putting up a border of a jungle theme. I received this little freebie and the material around it is my window topper that I made.

I'm off to the Thursday stitching group to work on the teapot and visit with my Stitching friends in the area.
Have a great day and stitch with happy fingers.

Tour update again

It seems the gremlins have been at it again.
The post I did didn't take so here we go again.
The Tour des Marques got my attention for the first time in 2 weeks. Things have been getting out of hand and I had to put it aside for a couple of weeks but look... here it it.
I did a lot on it yesterday which was fun. Lots of confetti stitches and color changes. It doesn't look like much but I feel I did a good chunk!!
Tomorrow Is Paradigm Lost day for me and I will post on the SAL blog

I hope to see a lot of the progress on both CdC and PL.
Have a good night .
Thanks Teejay for letting me know the post didn't take. Whoops

Very Little

I have very little to show today because I'm working on a couple of ornaments...1 is the exchange and 1 is a gift.. I will post them when they are delivered.
The Castle has a lot of Backstitching done this weekend. So again very little to show unless you look real close.
I love this piece it is a lot of fun. Probably one of the easier TW's. But still a challenge. Lots of blends and quarter stitches.
Take care all have a good day!!!

She's tucked away.

Today my WITCH has been put away with all the other Ghostly paraphernalia. I will miss them all.

This photo is of a piece that I started about 20 years ago. I thought I was ready. Needless to say My mom finished it for me. I actually hung the witch in it's place for a month.

The black work was done by me and she did the rest.
I had it framed and it has hung in my kitchen [where ever] ever since. It is one of my favorites. I searched for the chart but it seems it was passed on a long time ago.
So I know nothing about it ...but I love it.

I hope you all had a lovely Halloween and stayed safe.
We do not get any kids at all. As a matter of fact we have had 4 kids [ all at once... whew] in 10 years. I always keep chocolate bars for them in case they come...If only they knew!!!

Today was our 10th anniversary of the day we moved into this house. Last week we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary as well.
It was a busy week. Then and now.
Well I'm off to Choir practice.
Have a nice night all and thank you for the wonderful comments!!

It's a Start

Yesterday was the day Kathy went across the border..BOO HOO... so she made the Decision that is when she was starting the Paradigm Lost. So needless to say I did too.
I know I'm not alone. I will post a photo on the Snowbird SAL as well, have a look at how many folks are doing the SAL. Most are starting today and tomorrow which is great, so there will be post for a day or 2.

In the mean time I started my Ornament exchange. I had to work but it wasn't busy so I managed a small bit.
I won't post that until my partner has received it in Nov. I love the exchanges.

Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone.
Stay safe.
